In the left or the right lung resection patients life quality analysis

Abstract:

Objective

Analysis left pneumonectomy surgery or right pneumonectomy surgery, surgery patient self-management effectiveness level and life quality and postoperative patients three months of the relationship between the health.

Methods

Using Chinese cancer self-management effectiveness scale, WHOQOL 100 and SF-36, 83 underwent left pneumonectomy or right pneumonectomy postoperative patients with questionnaire survey, descriptive analysis and Pearson correlation analysis method to analyze the data summary.

Results

Left lung or right after pneumonectomy patients self-efficacy scores and each dimension scores are in the medium level, and the patients self-efficacy level and quality of life between every dimension and health index were positively correlated.

Conclusions

Left lung or right pneumonectomy postoperative patient′s life quality is poorer, nursing staff needs to be implemented according to the characteristics of the different patients and individualized demand targeted, individualized health education, meet different family background, different cultural levels, the patient′s needs, to maximize the patient's self-efficacy level, improve the quality of life of patients and long-term health.
